JAHM TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Dear Friends,
Within this rapidly changing landscape, the term “social distancing” has rocketed into the vocabulary (or should we call it "physical distancing"?)... a process of physical separation to help "flatten the curve" and slow down the impact of the coronavirus.
For this reason, we have made the decision to close the doors to JAHM until some time when the vulnerable are less at risk and the health services less depleted.
We are still very excited for the day we can share with you the incredible exhibition Storylines + Songlines: Contemporary Australian Art from the Arthur & Suzie Roe Collection, which currently adorns our walls and shelves and transports us into the psyche of pre-Covid19 Australia through the eyes and brushstrokes of some of Australia's greatest contemporary artists. We will be in touch with you when we have more information about new opening dates.
In the meantime, all current ticket holders will be given the choice for immediate transfer to new tour dates or for a ticket refund, so please be in touch about your preferences or with any other queries: info@jahm.com.au
Let's remember that we are a community of arts lovers, makers and seekers and that staying connected will help us build on our strengths and help keep us engage as hopeful and passionate humans within this ever changing planet.
Obviously we can't physically visit a gallery, but Google Arts & Culture has a collection of more the 500 different museums and galleries up on its site that you can visit virtually. And please connect to our facebook and instagram as we'll keep updating on the arts scene, on JAHM news and covering some insights into the artists we love, collect and exhibit.
Wishing you all the best of health, creativity and patience.
Kindest regards,
Charles and Leah
