Presented by Donald Bates - Wed 23 June - 7pm
Join Professor Donald Bates, Associate Dean (Engagement) Melbourne School of Design Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning and Director of LAB Architectural Studio – the architects of Melbourne’s Federation Square - as he presents The Itinerant Architect; A Man within All Countries.
Donald Bates has called Melbourne home for 23 years but has experienced life in many cities throughout the world. His talk will explore what it means to work as an architect when one is never truly at home – but is always able to feel local.
Donald’s talk will conclude with a Q&A, followed by a viewing of the exhibition and refreshments.
