Presented by Marina Strocchi, Wayne Eager and Arthur Roe - Tuesday 7 December 7:15pm
Artists Marina Strocchi and Wayne Eager are partners in life, each with their individual and distinctive art practices. Wayne was a founding member of avant-garde Roar Studios, following which Marina and Wayne set up and managed the Ikuntji Art Centre at Haast’s Bluff, after which they moved to Alice springs and both worked with Indigenous artists in a number of different organizations for over 30 years. Both are represented in major museum and private collections.
Join Arthur Roe in conversation with both Marina and Wayne discussing how they started as artists, how they influenced and were influenced by Indigenous artists, how they concurrently maintained their own distinctive practices and how as partners in life they influenced each other.
